Ermal Kuqo is an ethnic Albanian basketball player in Turkey. He played college basketball at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas He entered the NBA Draft in 2003 but was not selected. If he is drafted he will be the first Albanian in the NBA. He currently plays for Efes Pilsen Basketball team in Istanbul. He was suspended from official basketball due to a steroid violation, but he is returned and playing for Efes Pilsen. Also, He plays for the Turkish National Basketball team.
