[edit] Software testing

Hi. Why create the page Software Tester when Software tester already redirects to Software testing. Looks to be a POV fork. Unless you have a very solid argument against that, I'll redirect the page to the existing one. Pascal.Tesson 17:08, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

sorry, but before I could edit this. ok will add the data in Software testing. bye 4 now. --Erkan Yilmaz 17:19, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Not sure why you put the InUse template on my talk page but I have removed it. I'm guessing it was some weird mistake on your part. Pascal.Tesson 17:53, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Hello, I did it with purpose, because while I am editing a page, I use this inuse, so my changes do not get lost by another user editing simultaneously - afterwards I delete it again. CU, --Erkan Yilmaz 17:54, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Well actually that's a misleading template to use, especially if you don't plan a major edit. As for the software testing page, I don't claim to know much about the subject but I'm sure that some competent editors will check your additions. Cheers. Pascal.Tesson 17:56, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Hello Pascal. ok, sorry for the time-waste I caused for you because of this. Perhaps you know another template that can be used, so I do not cause the same prob again? The other possibility would be to always copy+paste it also in notepad, for the case someone else edits the text in parallel. --Erkan Yilmaz 18:17, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] talk page

Hi..u have somehow wrritten on my talk page.. i think it shd be on discussion page..am I right ;-)

Hello DigitalFunda, I did not know, if you had a watch on the article, so I also wrote here and as it seems, you received the info, so I will rmeove it on your user-page. CU --Erkan Yilmaz 10:45, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please don't be silly

Please don't mess about with joke edits - we try hard here to produce something we can all be proud of - silliness doesn't help. Articles are monitored and users messing about face a block or a ban. Why not try and contribute something useful instead? Have a look at the below and get stuck in properly:

[edit] The category anomalies

Hi, the category anomalies only covers quantum anomalies and not software anomalies. Maliz 21:47, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Thx for the info, I have created now following category: Category:Anomaly_in_software

[edit] Article Error: Reporting vandalism on WP:AIV

Please remember that vandals should only be reported on WP:AIV after they have been warned by the use of appropriate warning templates, and the vandalism has continued despite them having received a final warning. 142.46.225.28 had received no warnings at all. Details of the appropriate use of WP:AIV are to be found in the green box at the top of that page. Regards, Tonywalton  | Talk 13:06, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Hello Tonywalton, ok will keep this in mind. --Erkan Yilmaz 13:12, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. By the way, this might be of interest. Cheers, Tonywalton  | Talk 13:21, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
OK, now you also get linked from German Wikipedia. :-) --Erkan Yilmaz 13:33, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
I'm flattered :-) However I hope you don't mind, but I've added the following note

Haben Sie bitte Acht, daß die Einzelheiten der Prozessen auf dem deutschen und auf dem englischen Wiki nicht unbedingt genau gleich sind!

to the relevant entry on your userpage in the de Wiki. The page in my userspace is concerned only with the procedure here on the en Wiki, things might be different elsewhere! Tonywalton  | Talk 13:26, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Hello TonyWalton, thx for clarifying, I did not mean to publish it for complete German wiki, just for me as favorites. But thank you again for the info, because it may have led to confusion in the future who knows - better being safe than sorry. So, how did you learn German? Do you have German ancestors? ----Erkan Yilmaz (evaluate me!, discussion) 19:41, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Do you know what? You brought a smile on my face. How? I read the term "himmelherrgott". :-) So, already all your German learning had success, because you made me happy. So, your goal for today is achieved :-) ----Erkan Yilmaz (evaluate me!, discussion) 13:03, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Ach, Jünglinge! So sprach man vor 30 Jahren ;-) Tonywalton  | Talk 14:42, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, I know some people still speaking like this: "Himmelhergott, sakrapparat noch mol." (the terms after the comma perhaps are not quite correct, but perhaps you know the meaning?) Therefore I find it interesting, well you did not mention the last part, but finding someone who is not inside Germany is interesting. ----Erkan Yilmaz (evaluate me!, discussion) 17:43, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:German Wikiversity

Hello, Erkan. Thank you for your message. No, I don't speak German but I want to learn it, so, I created the account. My edits of course will be minor. Happy to know you. Cheers! --Meno25 07:33, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Barnstar

Vanakkam and Nandri (Namaste & Dhanyavad in Tamil) for talking back to me. Thanks for showing me the trick to see any users contributions as summary. Yes, I rewarded multiple Wikipedia contributors for hard work and due diligence in the areas related to Software Testing (not just the article Software Testing). Thank you again for your free content contribution to Wikipedia. --Pinecar 00:10, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
