According to the below, the company is owned by a sewing-machine distributor and there is a dispute as to true ownership of the patent(s). The Turkish patent office confirms that a patent has been applied for.

Here are more press references in English; the first you already mention; the last is commentary. One problem with Sabah is that all stories are displayed with the current date.

And who (or what) is "Pasha"?

High ranking officers (General +) are called Pasha in Turkey. Even if they are retired. For example: "Mustafa Kemal Pasha" Kerem Ozgur 23:20, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Pasha (paşa) means General (all ranks of generals) However, paşa is an old Turkish word and no longer used by the Armed Forces. Mko 12:49, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Company itself has given some clues about their device at their homepage.

Basın açıklamamızda belirtildiği üzere bu buluşun bilimsel açıklaması mevcut bilgiler ile yapılamamaktadır. Buluşun dayandığı bilimsel esaslar bilinen fizik kaidelerinin bazılarını içine almakla birlikte bu kaideleri genişletmektedir. Doğada var olan ancak mevcut sistemler ile faydalanılamayan bir enerji kaynağı, Erke dönergeci metodunda maddenin atalet özelliği kullanılarak güç alınabilir bir hale getirilmektedir. Enerji yoktan üretilemez. Ancak varolan bir enerji başka bir enerjiye dönüştürülür.

Can be translated as

The comments of scientest about that energry cannot be created from nothing is correct. As stated at our earlier press release, this invention cannot be explanied with current knowledge. The scientific principles which is our device is based on both includes some known physics rules and expands some of them. Erke Dönereci uses inertia to extract an unusable energy which is already presented at the nature. Energy cannot be created, but can be converted into another form.

At this point, we are atracting attension of scientist to follwing points. Currently, force is not explained what it realy is but what it does. However, at this explanition must state what it realy states. Therefore, the connection between force and motion must be reconsidered.

Also one of leading members of the company has stated "Device uses something to start producing energy. Bu do not consumes it."
