Erke Energy Research and Engineering Corp. is a Turkish company which claimed to have invented a perpetual motion machine that runs without any fuel in a press conference attended by some retired Turkish generals on 21 November 2006.[1][2] The machine, named Erke Dönergeci is supposed to be running with the "inertia property of material", however the company refused to explain any technical details about the "machine". The company stated that there is no scientific law in the literature to explain the mechanism of the machine, yet they are willing to explain the mathematical and physical principals at an appropriate time.
