  • Hello! Eric hess is not the appropriate spot to post information about yourself, because that's the encyclopedic part of the Wikipedia website. User:Ericverbin, however, is all yours to use more or less as you wish. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. Roy A.A. 21:51, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deleted article

The article violated several criteria for speedy deletion, which is why it was deleted. Since you are clearly Eric, your best course of action is to post information about yourself on your userpage, which you have already started has alredy been done for you :) — Deckiller 21:58, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia does not include every bit of information (even if it's correct) — we are an encyclopedia, so we have to be very selective as to how much information (and what kind of information) can be included. Here's a few good pages for you to read: what wikipeda is not, criteria for speedy deletion, notability, neutral point of view, verify, and the ones listed above in your welcome message. — Deckiller 22:03, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, it's protected against recreation, since several of us decided that it met the criteria for speedy deletion. Perhaps when you complete the article on your userpage, we can look at it and consider unprotecting. You may also post a request for it to be reincluded at Wikipedia:Deletion review. — Deckiller 22:30, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
