A prominent journalist covering bands in the Heavy Metal subgenre of Rock music and its various associated styles, Erin Fox has been associated with prestigious, respected Internet entertainment publications such as Digital Metal, SMN News, and Pivotal Rage, amongst many others.

Fox served first as Senior Editor, then Editor-In-Chief of the high-profile Heavy Metal vertical portal known as The Gauntlet from October 2004 to April 2005. The contributions of this intensely dedicated journalist adided in helping The Gauntlet become the #1 rated site in the catagory of Heavy Metal according to Alexa, an Internet traffic reporting service associated with Amazon, overtaking the wildly popular eighties Metal publication Metal Sludge in December of 2005 for the number one ranking. During his tenure with this publication, Fox interviewed high-profile musicians such as Al Jourgenson of Ministry, Chad Grey of MuDvAyNe, Chuck Billy of Testament, as well as conducting an interview with high-profile VJ Juliya of FUSE TV.
