Erik Christian Clemmensen

Erik Christian Clemmensen ( 1876 in Odense - 21. May 1941) was a danish american chemist.

Clemmensen studied at Polytechnical University in Copenhagen. He emigrated to the US in 1900 and was working in pharmaceutical industry. For the invention of the Clemmensen reduction he got his phd in 1913 by the University of Copenhagen.
