Eric Yepao

Eric T. Yepao (born November 09, 1973) is an investor and a businessman. He used to be best known for being the founder and chief executive officer of Nordland development company, a company that was specialising in land and property development and developing the world's largest free trade zone. He studied economics at Harvard University is also the founder of The Capitalist Club, an organization defending capitalism, free trade, entrepreneurship, democracy, privatization, liberty, education and in favour of negative income tax and in some cases flat tax.

Yepao was a well-known entrepreneur for his unique concept of land and property development. He is a fanatical capitalist and a staunch admirer of Adam Smith, Friedrich von Hayek, Ludwig von Mises and Ayn Rand. He is widely respected for his intelligence (he speaks fluently 12 languages). He is fluent in English, German, French, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Spanish, Italian, Cantonese and Japanese. He has an IQ of 185. At the same time he is a target of widespread attacks for his defense of liberal democracy and free-market capitalism. Eric Yepao is also a member of the Adam Smith Institute, the Heritage Foundation and the Ayn Rand Institute. Eric Yepao has been taking part in the project of King Abdullah Economic City. After a long legal battle and losing most of his money in various investments. On December 1st 2006, Eric Yepao has decided to abandon the project of the Nordland Free Trade Zone and to close down the company Nordland Development Company.
