[edit] Music
Index / IndexAI
Chamberlain originally formed the band Index with two friends, Cody Cast and Kurt Luette, creating electro/industrial electronic music released on the COP Int'l recording label. After an EP (Never This Infliction) and a full-length CD (Sky Laced Silver), Chamberlain was the sole artist remaining in the project. Three more CDs (Black Light Twilight, Faith in Motion, Ultra Hard Shadow) were recorded and released, again, on the COP Int'l label, each achieving considerable critical acclaim.
The suffix "AI" (Artificial Intelligence) was later added to the name to help differentiate Chamberlain's project from the growing number of other projects incorporating the word "index" into their names.
Skylash
A side-project, Skylash is an instrumental, dance music project. The first and, so far, only Skylash release, a full-length CD entitled Empyreal Day Dreams, was released on COP Int'l. It received good reviews but some complained that it was a watered-down, lighter version of Index material. Attempts to obtain a vocalist failed, thus Skylash apparently remains an instrumental project.
Nom Silencieux
Nom Silencieux (French for "silent name") is Chamberlain's musical project dedicated to ambient and textural soundscapes. One CD, Eyes are Clocks, has been released.
