Eric Kevin Bruntlett (born March 29, 1978 in Lafayette, IN) is a baseball shortstop who currently plays for the Houston Astros. He is known for his defensive versatility: though he usually plays second base or shortstop, he has occasionally seen time at every position on the field except for pitcher and catcher.

In 2005, he had a batting average of .220, and hit 4 home runs and had 14 RBIs. Career-wise, he is batting .237, and hit 9 home runs with 26 RBIs. He attended Stanford University.
