Eric Brady

Eric Brady (full name Eric Roman Brady) is a fictional character on the television drama Days of our Lives. As an adult the role of Eric was played by actor Jensen Ackles from 1997 to 2000. As a child the role was played by Rory Beauregard (1984) Jesse Davis (1985 to 1986) Edward Palma (1986) and Bradley Hallock (1986 to 1992)
Eric's parents are Dr. Marlena Evans and Roman Brady. Eric was born on the program in October 1984, and was named after Roman's uncle Eric. Eric has a twin sister, Sami Brady, who is a popular villainess on the show.
In 1992, the Brady twins were sent to live in Colorado with Marlena's parents after their mother disappeared. Sami returned to town rapidly aged in early 1993. Eric came back in 1997 but left again in 2000. Before the character returned in 1997, it had been implied by Sami that Eric avoided visiting his family because of their various dysfunctions.
Eric had only two serious love interests on the show. Nicole Walker (whom he had an affair with while she was married to Lucas Roberts) and Greta Von Amberg who he never slept with.
Eric almost always disagreed with Sami and her schemes and more often that not sided with others against her, although he often defended her to those outside the Brady family.
Eric was given a job as a photographer at Titan Industries by Kate Roberts (after she was blackmailed by Sami). According to a recent statement by Sami, her brother is still a professional photographer. On rare occasions, Eric calls home to Salem, usually to Sami or the Brady Pub.
