Eric Baumann (born March 21, 1980 in Rostock) is a German professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTour T-Mobile Team. He secured a contract with T-Mobile in 2004, having turned professional with Team Wiesenhof in 2003 and before that riding as amateur for Team Köstritzer.
Baumann's biggest success so far in the elite mens category was a stage victory in the 2005 Tour de Luxembourg. As an under-23, he won the Paris-Roubaix (U23) in 2000, achieved second place at European Championships (U23) in 2001, was German Champion (U23) in 2002, scored a stage win at the Tour of Solidarnosc (Poland) in 2003, was second place at the Ronde van Drenthe in 2003, and achieved second place at the GP Gendringen in 2003.
He currently lives in Leipzig.
