Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

It's the day before the anniversary of Eric & Donna's first kiss (which means its probably May 17, 1977) and Eric is planning on getting something special for Donna the next day. He shows Hyde & Fez a picture of the fake gold necklace from Sears he plans to get her that costs about $60. He then tells them he's going to use his secret stash money, but apparently everyone seems to know its in the Candyland box. He opens the box and is shocked to see that someone stole the money. The next day Eric first asks Laurie where his money is expecting she took it. Laurie tells him if she took it she'd flaunt it in his face, but maybe Hyde did it since he lives down there. Eric doesn't believe her at first, but she convinces him when reminding that Hyde made that move on Donna last year. He asks Kitty if she came across it while cleaning and she tells him no. During the circle Eric tells them that the thief could be any one of them, afterwords denying that Fez did it because he's too nice and Kelso because he's too stupid to even know where it is. Hyde notices the accusation and is offended. That night Eric meets up with Donna to celebrate their anniversary and gives her a small bouquet of flowers. Donna then gives him a digital watch that is engraved in his name. Eric feels bad and shows her a picture of what he was going to get her before his money got stolen and Donna is impressed. Later Red is putting money back into the Candyland box and Hyde sees that he was the one that took Eric's money. When Eric gets home he tells Hyde he's ok with the fact that he stole the money, but Hyde told him that Red took the money. Eric asks Red and he tells him he did and borrowed a couple bucks to buy a new water heater. When Red asks Eric why he accused Hyde he mentions about the move he made on Donna and Red tells them to bare knuckle box saying if they were really mad they would do it. After Red leaves Eric tells Hyde he's sorry and promises him that he will never bring up that move he made on Donna again.

Jackie is going to enter the Miss Dairy Princess pageant and Kelso is helping her. Fez tells her he will help because he has a way with women's hair. After they leave, Kelso reveals to Hyde the reason he is helping is because he wants to have the hottest chick of all the hot chicks. Later Fez is working with Jackie on her dress and Kelso comes in telling her that its time they get to work. Kelso then tells Fez that its ok that Fez can work on her body because that's his thing, and he'll work on her mind. On the way to the beauty pageant Kelso's van runs out of gas so he leaves to get some after insulting her that she can't win without him. Fez comforts her and compliments her telling her she doesn't need him and reveals that Kelso's just using her so he can become popular. Kelso comes back and Jackie tells him she loves him because he really believe he can ride her coattails to the top, leaving Fez is shock. Jackie then does a clog dancing number, because that's what Kelso told her she should do.
