Erba is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 km north of Milan and about 10 km east of Como.

Erba borders the following municipalities: Albavilla, Caslino d'Erba, Castelmarte, Eupilio, Faggeto Lario, Longone al Segrino, Merone, Monguzzo, Ponte Lambro, Proserpio.

In the nearby is the Mount Bollettone.

Erba is also famous for the slaughter of four people including a 2 year old baby in December 2006. A married couple (the victims neighbours) have been arrested for the murders, the district attorney of Como believes that the reason for the killings is related to an ongoing fued between the familes.
