Talk:Er-Murazor

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What exactly is the point of this page? Shouldn't the (canonical, non-RPG) information go in Witch-king of Angmar, his actual name? I don't believe the roleplaying character deserves such treatment. -Aranel ("Sarah") 21:35, 21 Nov 2004 (UTC)

To make matters worse, those are movie quotes. "But no mortal man am I!" -Aranel ("Sarah") 21:51, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Suggestion:

 1. Redirect this article to Witch-king of Angmar.
 2. Mention the name in that article. Do not merge the rest of the content unless it is confirmed to have come from Tolkien.

Anyone opposed? I'm trying to figure out what purpose this information serves. I'm all for including legitimate Middle-earth information in Wikipedia, but I don't think MERP material is quite as valid as Tolkien material, or even movie material. -Aranel ("Sarah") 21:58, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)

All for it. MERP info can maybe go in the MERP article — if it is not copyrighted by whoever ownes/owned MERP. Have you seen Herumor yet by the way? Anárion 22:13, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I went ahead and redirected. (It's not like it's difficult to revert if anyone cares to discuss the matter.) I'm toying with the idea of creating an article that brings together non-Tolkien characters and such that people nonetheless associate with Middle-earth. This could include movie inventions. -Aranel ("Sarah") 20:16, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
