i think u shouldnt patronize omada epsilon if ur not greek because otherwise u r a parrot tries to speak greek
- For one, I am Greek, or else I would have no way of acquiring all that info about "Omada Epsilon" because (luckily or not) it's not heard of nor "influent" outside of Greece. If you find the article patronizing, then provide clear indications, contribute in correcting or changing crucial points or mark it as POV EpiVictor 18:54, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- It's very easy to gather whatever "data" there is about this "Epsilon Team": the books of Kalogerakis, Keramidas (member of ultra-nationalist, christian fanatic party LAOS) and Fourakis (which make for a rather fun read), the articles in the occultist/paranoia/conspiracy theory magazines, as well as the outrageous claims these people have made in Hardavellas' TV shows. The entry in Wikipedia does nothing but debunk this urban legend, whose creation was nothing but sheer profiteering; and this is a particularly good thing. Elp gr 00:23, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

From the Epsilon Team article: The Epsilon Team (In Greek: Ομάδα Έψιλον, Omada Epsilon) is an urban legend about a probably entirely imaginary secret society consisting of an elite team of Greek engineers, academics, pilots, powerful businessmen and politicians etc. manufacturing and piloting UFOs.
Their symbol is a Delphic Epsilon, looking like two Epsilons connected back to back and considered to appear on their "UFOs" and on ancient ancient Greek monuments as well.
Besides the general information that is provided above, there is really nothing more known about this highly secretive organization. So why get into all kinds of information suggesting that Epsilon is racist or anti-Semitic based on what some people that may or my not represent them say? What are the independent organizations or sources (excluding lobby groups) that have suggested that the Epsilon Team is anti-Semitic? Why is it suggested (by using clever writing formulation) that going against globalization is a bad thing?
Guys sorry but these http://www.ysee.gr/ are not anti-semites nor are they epsilon promoters .They are just pagans(whatever that is exactly).could you remove them ?

Roughly, the guys at http://www.ysee.gr/ state that the "epsilon team" is just a messianic construct meant to confuse the ignorant and the uninformed masses by means of deception, terror and even insanity, and they dissociate themselves clearly, so where exactly are PAGANS shows as antisemites? Epsilonists are declaredly antisemite, as there can't be two nations of "chosen people" on the same world (and extreme Zionism proclaims Jews to be the chosen race, so how couldn't a construct such as the epsilon team avoid this "confrontation" ?). - The reason for the inclusion of their link is that they are pagans, and pagans are cited in this article as opposers of the epsilon team. At most a clarification could be placed in the link (pagans!=epsilonists) but I think it's largely unnecessary. EpiVictor 12:04, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

I think that the paragraph on whether epsilon is the initial letter of "Hellenic" is far too long. It seems apparent that the paragraph is addressing a controversy over whether this is true or not, but there is simply too much detail for an encyclopedia article here. Most readers have never heard of the controversy and do not need this detailed rebuttal.
Because there are no clear citations in support of the text, this paragraph also smells like original research.
To avoid both problems, we should replace the current paragraph with a much shorter account and a reference to the omitted details at some reputable source.Phiwum 20:35, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merger "Dispute"
It seems that this so-called "merger dispute" has been in a state of limbo for quite a while. I think it would be best to end it now so that we can all move forward. To be perfectly honest, there is no need to merge the articles. Yes, it is understandable why someone would want the articles to be merged since Epsilonism has a paragraph discussing the Epsilon Team. However, Epsilonism and the Epsilon Team should remain separate. Epsilonism is mainly a discussion of the tenets of a very strange ideology that generally lists those individuals/organizations who support them. The Epsilon Team article mainly discusses the history, ideological dynamics, membership hierarchy, and activities of the organization itself. Deucalionite 19:48, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
