[edit] Reception

The first line, V1, consisted only of combo amplifiers and received a fair reception, due to such problems as buzzing and hum. Epiphone updated the amp, the V2, and released both combo and head versions, correcting these issues. The Epiphone Valve Junior started to receive much more attention because of it's vintage tube tone and modding capabilities.

[edit] Popularity

The Epiphone Valve Junior has built a large fan base and become very popular because it's vintage Class A tube tone, low price, ability to be modified, and retro looks.

[edit] Modifications

The Epiphone Valve Junior has become very popular to modify because of its simple design; there are many websites, kits, and forums dedicated to this purpose.
