Eochaid mac Ailella

Eochaid, son of Ailill Finn, was a legendary High King of Ireland. He became king when his father was killed by Airgeatmhar and his ally, Duach Ladhgrach. Eochaid withheld Airgeatmhar's attempts to overthrow him, but when he held a meeting to discuss peace with Duach he was betrayed and murdered, allowing Airgeatmhar to take the kingship.
