[edit] Ronee Blakley
Are you a fan? You seem to know a lot about her. I am the one who added the song info about I Played it for You, and her hopes to record a new album.
[edit] Gert Jonnys
Hey Entheta, two things.
1. Since you're new, it's not a big deal, but usually changing someone elses user page unless you're reverting vandalism is a big no-no. Please contact me and other Wikipedians here on Talk pages.
2. I just checked, and I couldn't find anything that would define Gert Johnys as notable under WP:MUSIC or as an internet phenomenon(Only a little over 1,000 hits on Google, which is nothing, and nada on Alexa for that Freddy Page).
You seem to be an expert on the band, so if you can add something in there that'll make the band notable under Wikipolicy, please help out, but otherwise, it's probably not going to make it. Karmafist 21:23, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] The Deletion
It's quite alright, we were all new once. Since you're new, your vote probably wouldn't count(another non-written wikithing), but your input there would be invaluable. The fact that it's on Swedish Wikipedia may make it notable enough to keep. I don't know. I can't speak or read Swedish, I can't tell from looking at that version. Karmafist 22:06, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
- That was an excellent addition, you're going to make an excellent Wikipedian. Karmafist 23:13, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Operation Clambake
An anonymous user keeps adding unsubstantiated clams claims about Heldal-Lund, and restores when I revert. I don't want to break 3RR so as an interested editor I hope you'll keep an eye on this article - thanks! — ciphergoth 12:08, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Anne Linnet
The List of gay, lesbian or bisexual people has a criteria that states entries must have a Wikipedia article that includes mention of their orientation. There is no mention in Anne Linnet of anything about her orientation, so I am going to remove her name from the list. If you think that there are sufficient sources then please insert a reference in her biography, and then add her name back to the list. Thanks, -Willmcw 23:05, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Brainwashing and Mind Control
Please take part at the merge vote under Talk:Mind control#Merge vote --Irmgard 16:29, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] References
Could you add a reference to the article Luis Garavito. We are trying to add references to all crime articles, even stubs.--FloNight 00:51, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks--FloNight 00:56, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Anne Linnet, again
The List of gay, lesbian or bisexual people has a criteria that states entries must have a Wikipedia article that includes mention of their orientation. There is no mention in Anne Linnet of anything about her orientation, so I am going to remove her name from the list. If you think that there are sufficient sources then please insert a reference in her biography, and then add her name back to the list. Thanks, Willmcw 22:28, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- I realize that it's just a stub. But if her orientation is important enough to mention in the encyclopedia, then it is important enough to mention in her biography. -Willmcw 22:49, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Christian democrats

[edit] Poll
The poll is still active and archiving it (without even an obvious link) was extremely inappropriate. Please put it back at the top of the page. Thanks. Babajobu 01:08, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- It's okay, you're right that the page has gotten unwieldy and I appreciate that you were looking for solutions. Cheers, Babajobu 01:12, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- For lots of reasons I'm too tired to elaborate upon, the top of the talk page is the best place for the poll, and I'm certain it would have been exposed to fewer eyes from a separate page. Your points are legit, though. Regardless, thanks for putting it back. Babajobu 01:25, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for not getting mad. Goodnite. (Entheta 01:43, 4 February 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Image Tagging Image:EspadaS2 8368 1971.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:EspadaS2 8368 1971.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 19:55, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Please mention it on the image page with photographer's name if you have. I tagged it with creative commons. Regrads, Shyam (T/C) 14:36, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nice catch
Thanks for the catch on the Shel Silverstein bit. I saw your original edit including him, then decided to see if I could verify it. I found an online bio mentioning that Shel had helped write the song, but upon re-checking I see that it was probably taken from old Wikipedia entry itself. Thanks again for the catch there.
[edit] chick corea
Hello
can you please review the Chick Corea wiki entry, there appears to be blatant use of this profile to publicise scientology. The page now has a direct link to the German scientology website as well as a scientology video. I find this objectionable.
Please take a look.
Thanks
damian.
- I've taken a look at it, and I agree. I made some changes Entheta 20:58, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I'm glad you agree. On another note, I also feel that having a heading called 'Scientolgy' in the middle of this artists profile is misleading; as such I changed it to 'Artistic Inspiration' which seems to be more accurate, considering the nature of this Wikipedia entry i.e. information about a jazz musician. This has since been reverted and I recieved the following message: Your own beliefs on Scientology aside, you renamed Chick Corea's Scientology involvement to artistic inspiration, which is NOT MERELY the fact. Just changing the title isn't going to help.

[edit] Image:Fondaschyman.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Fondaschyman.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in its not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Love Hurts
I've reverted your recent edits to Love Hurts. The Cher version was already merged into Love Hurts previously, as articles are about songs, not singles. You may want to take a look at WP:SONGS and the Music portal in general.... song articles within Wikipedia include all notable versions within the same page. Thanks. -- eo 04:28, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I will read the policy. But the article looks very confusing, since it's both about the song in general and about the Cher single. Other Cher singles have their own pages. Entheta 04:35, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well technically the other Love Hurts also need infoboxes, such as the Nazareth version. For some good examples check out More, More, More or I Love Rock 'N Roll, just to name a couple. For a good Cher example, see The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss). - eo 04:44, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- OIC, I hope someone who knows about the other versions can add those infoboxes then... Entheta 04:45, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Stella.promo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Stella.promo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok ☠ 04:01, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dawkinssouthpark.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Dawkinssouthpark.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 12:00, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Boderekhotchocolate.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Boderekhotchocolate.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 18:55, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- It looks like somebody had been vandalising the info for the picture and removed the licensing tag, I have reverted it now. Entheta 20:42, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ronbot
Hi, Entheta. I recently came across ronbot, an article with no references and few Google hits for the term. I was thinking of putting it up for deletion, but wanted to give you a chance to edit the article/find sources/object before I did. Cheers. IronDuke 16:23, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] W.Somerset Maugham
Given your previous or current interest in Somerset Maugham - can you please add any thoughts you might have at Talk:W. Somerset Maugham#What next? Peer Review? so that we can move the article up a notch? VirtualSteve 09:13, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Christinalindberg.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Christinalindberg.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:GiannaNanniniCuore1998.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:GiannaNanniniCuore1998.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use.

[edit] WikiProject updates
- I have done some updating to the WP:SCN, added some new articles, added a "to do" list to the top of the project, and fixed up some categories and assessment stuff. I suggest we should all pick one article at a time, or at most two, to work on bringing up to Featured Article status. You could give input on the project's talk page...
