Entre Nous (also known as Coup de foudre) is a 1983 French biographical drama film directed by Diane Kurys, who shares the writing credits with Olivier Cohen. Set in WW2 France of 1942, the film's stars are Isabelle Huppert, Miou Miou and Guy Marchand. Coup de Foudre can be translated as something akin to "A Rush of Blood To The Head", basically a decision taken on a whim.

[edit] Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The premise to the film is that Lena Weber (Huppert) and Michel Korski (Marchand) have married and fled Germany together to live in Lyon, France. Korsky owns a garage and appears to make plenty of money but often wastes it unwisely.

Korski and Weber's marriage is fractious, although there are moments of happiness with their two young daughters.
