The result is a wisecracking, shapeshifting harlequin who uses his magical powers to kidnap the "King," "Queen," "Knight" and "Jester," or Mayor Manx, Callie Briggs, Commander Feral and Litterbin, respectively, imprisoning all in a magic puzzle box. [edit] Trivia
Glenn Leopold wrote Enter the Madkat with nothing but a sketch of the title villain provided by Christian and Yvon Tremblay to reference.
When this episode originally aired, it mistakenly ran with the end credits from Metal Urgency.
Jim Cummings takes over the role of the Enforcer Sergeant from Ed Gilbert in this episode. In fact, following this Ed Gilbert would not appear in another SWAT Kats episode until Caverns of Horror.
Callie being "the Queen" is a reference to her probable ancestor Queen Callista.
This episode marks the second time that Chance and Jake have had to assist that cantankerous little old lady, and the second time that Chance has taken his special "shortcut." They previously did both in Night of the Dark Kat.
David Litterbin, is apparently a reference to the late night talk show host David Letterman.
