Enrique Hidalgo was born in El Tigre, Anzoátegui state, Venezuela, March 10, 1942, this popular musician author of 500 songs, between which they emphasize “Barcelonesa”, “Presagio” and “La Carta”, he is able to execute the cuatro, the harp and steel band among other instruments. Enrique Hidalgo is the composer of famous folk pieces of the venezuelan east, this compositions has been interpretated by singers and musical groups like: Gualberto Ibarreto, Quinto Criollo, Juan Carlos Salazar, and many others, Enrique Hidalgo now resides in Miami. Of their marriage with Yamila Soto six sons were born: Jesus, Jannio, Javier, Jaime, Jonás and Sasha, several of them followed the artistical aptitudes of his father.
