Enrique Cardenas

Enrique Cárdenas is of native-american decent(Arapaho-Cheyenne).

Born in Mexico, he lived his childhood in contact with Tarahumara and other ethnic communities in the North of Mexico. He studied alternative therapies In Santa Fe, New Mexico which empowered him to add a healing element to his music. In 1996 he founded KOKOPELLI PROJECT with the intention of spreading the knowledge and use of the Native American love flutes through U.S.A., México, Europe and Puerto Rico.

Cardenas is a proliphic composer. He has produced sixteen CD's on his own and in collaboration with other musicians. He has been playing with the tibetan monks during his tours. He also played for Ancient Brotherhood with Gerald Jay Markoe for the album Nature Goddess.
