You can probably tell what part of the generation I know best as a music lover!

An observation. If this is about an American generation, the list of Eurpoean composers seems quite irrelevant. The mere coincidence in time does not make them relevant to the subject. That's fine. I wanted to start the article to encourage others to contribute to it. The baroque-era composers are probably the most memorable figures of the era -- anywhere.--Paul from Michigan 01:59, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
