This article is about the enlargement of the United Nations — a list of the United Nations member states sorted in chronological order according to their date of admission to the UN.

The names of the member states are listed according to the ones they used when they were originally admitted to the UN. The UN General Assembly resolutions which admitted the member states are also showed. Notes are given if a member state has changed its name since being admitted, or has its seat succeeded by another nation. Nations that have ceased to be UN members and whose seats are not succeeded are displayed in italics.
