Long-term operations include:

• Proofreading a large article
• Merging or splitting an article
• Renaming or deleting an article

Short-term operations are ones that happen in a single session.

Short-term operations include:

• Proofreading a small article
• A general topic that includes many smaller operations (looking for vandilism, creating a block of redirect pages, ect.).
• Greeting new members
