Enid High School

Enid High School is a public secondary school in Enid, Oklahoma. With a student body of about 1,500 in grades 10-12, Enid High School has about a 60 percent matriculation rate. Most graduates attend school in-state at Oklahoma University, Oklahoma State University, or one of the many other schools in Oklahoma.
Enid High offers its students a wide variety of athletics including swimming, football, basketball, soccer, track, tennis, golf, wrestling, baseball, Academic Team, and volleyball, as well as many other sports. To accompany the athletics, Enid High offers a plethora of advanced studies for those students seeking a challenge. Enid High offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses in US history, European history, government, environmental science, chemistry, biology, calculus, art, computer science, human geography, and literature. Enid High also offers many advanced courses for those seeking a challenge but not desiring the college level course work.
In 2005 Enid High added a new addition to their cafeteria - restricting the student body to the campus during the lunch period. Many students ask their friends or parents to bring them lunch during the lunch period due to a lack of products from which to choose. The prices of the cafeteria food took a jump from the 2005-2006 school year to the 2006-2007 school year.
Enid High School's "Big Blue Band" is highly respected. It has won many prestigious awards, such as first place at Catoosa marching contest in 2005, and two state sweepstakes awards within the last four years. EHS also offers a mixed choir, select choir and show choir.
