Enhanced mini USB
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Enhanced mini USB, or EMU, is not a standard. Rather, it is different manufacturers' attempts to enable a mini USB port to do things beyond what it was designed for. Different EMUs are not compatible. A common issue requiring EMU is how to connect an analog headset through the digital USB port. Since the port will still accept a standard mini-USB connector and perform standard USB duties, the name USB still applies.
