[edit] Using English

Hello - I'm contacting you because of your involvement with using English instead of foreign terms in articles. A few are trying to "Anglicise" French terms in Wiki articles according to current guidelines but there is some resistance (eg/: "Région => Region"; "Département => Departement"). Your input would be appreciated here. Thankyou. --Bob 00:55, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scouting/Translations

Please look at the end of this section of the above article - Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scouting/Translations#Project mediator offer and respond to the questions I direct to you there. I am now trying to mediate the different views on translating article titles in articles coverd by the Wikipedia:WikiProject Scouting. Please assist me. --Bduke 09:44, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

I replied on my talk page. --Bduke 22:25, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

I have commented again on my talk page and welcomed the fact that you had agreed to not move pages. However I have been told you moved the Albania Scout article and disrupted the redirect so it is difficult to revert. Checking the times, it appears that you did that move, two minutes before stating you would not make moves. That is stretching the good faith I am showing. Could you explain? --Bduke 07:56, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
