Can anyone explain the remark 'No Information is to be applied to my text'. Unless there is a special reason, the request does not seem in the spirit of Wikipedia (Willow4 07:33, 5 December 2005 (UTC))

I agree. So i took it out. I also changed the part which mentioned "outside the english speaking world" due to the frech translation (which i also removed). I could be wrong, but I'm not sure anyone actually uses the english words "english garden" or "english park;" i'm betting most places translate it into their own langauge. For example, Englischer Garten in german, whatever that french translation was (jardin anglais, or something similar). Thusly, i found it redundant to have the translation directly next to it, especially because it was only the french translation. I know that this whole explanation doesnt read all that well, i typed it quickly and i hope its at least understandable. Let me know if there's a good reason to revert it.

[edit] proposed merge with English garden

  • I suggest merging the two into Landscape garden: as Wikipedia says in English garden, "The term English garden is not used in England, where "landscape garden" takes its place." Saint|swithin 07:48, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
    • This was proposed a month ago. Check User_talk:Wetman#Castle x Château --Ghirla -трёп- 09:55, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
      • I realise the merge was proposed; the "merge" template says to discuss it here, hence my comment. Maybe it would be better to continue any discussion here where people might find it. Saint|swithin 10:50, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
