Englishman's Bay

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Englishman's Bay is a secluded beach on the leeward coast of Tobago, between Castara and Parlatuvier. It is a popular stop for boat tours, as it offers a pleasant swimming atmosphere as well as interesting sea life for snorkeling. Although Englishman's Bay doesn't draw the large numbers of beachgoers that Tobago's western beaches do, it's known as one of the island's most beautiful. Set next to a rainforest, it features soft white sands, turquoise waters, palm trees, and privacy, since it's often deserted. As it isn't heavily visited, there are no guest facilities, such as restrooms or changing rooms. However, a food cart does sell snacks and drinks.
