The English Collective of Prostitutes is a self-help group founded in 1975 that campaigns for the abolition of prostitution laws that they believe criminalise prostitutes and their families. They aim to support sex workers and uphold their human, civil, political, legal and economic rights.

Their motto is "No bad women, just bad laws."

Their work has included the first ever private prosecution for rape in England and Wales, public awareness campaigns, and efforts to prevent the maltreatment of prostitutes by police.[citation needed]

The ECP is part of the International Prostitutes Collective, and is a member of the International Wages for Housework Campaign.

The ECP also works with other organisations, including

  • Women Against Rape
  • Black Women's Rape Action Project
  • US PROStitutes Collective
