Engadget Podcast
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Engadget Podcast is a podcast from the popular gadget and technology weblog Engadget. It is usually posted weekly, though special events may mean extra podcasts are produced or a podcast is delayed. CES is a prime example, one podcast was produced every day of the Consumer Electronics Show. On 5th April 2006 the 73rd Podcast was produced.
The podcast is presented by Engadget's managing editor, Ryan Block and co-founder and editor-in-chief, Peter Rojas, and is edited by Trent Wolbe. The material is based on the news published on the Engadget homepage and includes some simple straightforward news, but also contains useful insight into some of the more complicated issues from the complex world of technology.
The podcast has been criticized for the use of too many accronyms, though it is often unavoidable to use accronyms when dealing with the ongoings in the technology world.
