Enfield Island Village

Enfield Island Village is a large housing development in north east Enfield. It was built on land previously occupied by the Royal Small Arms Factory. The village is close to the borders of Essex and Hertfordshire and adjacent to the Lee Valley canals and open countryside.
The housing estate was built by Fairview and comprises a mixture of social housing, flats and houses. The village has a central parkland area and a small shopping centre. The shops include two take away shops a small supermarket. The Island also has its own GP and Dental Service.
