X-Men: Endangered Species is an upcoming comic book storyline scheduled for June 2007 about the X-Men. It is a one-shot written by Mike Carey and drawn by Scot Eaton. IGN announced that the story follows up House of M and Decimation and answers the question of why some mutants retain their superpowers. It focuses on Beast and the story continues in 17 parts via the main X-Men titles in back-up stories starting with X-Men #200.[1]
