Myst V: End of Ages Soundtrack is an album containing music written by composer Tim Larkin for what the development company (Cyan Worlds) has called the final chapter in the Myst game series (hence, the title "End of Ages" ). Information on Cyan's Web site has called Larkin's work on this game a "homage, of sorts, to the entire franchise" which "brings the series to a masterful and worthy end." Larkin's score was named "Best Soundtrack of 2005" by Game Industry News. The music was published on a CD enclosed in an 5" x 8" 2-page paper pamphlet with game-related artwork and a 2-page sample of Myst: The Book of Marrim.
