middle Precambrian material that intruded into earlier metamorphic schists and gneiss.

I think it was the contact metamorphism of the pluton itself that created the schists and gneiss from the sedimentary material it rose into. I might be wrong, but if someone can let me know if I'm wrong, I'd appreciate it. --DanielCD 03:22, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
