eMSSA is the Electronic Martial Spirit of Southern Africa - the original SA martial arts discussion group, which was created in 1998 by Greg Solomon. The list now includes hundreds of members around the world, although predominantly in South Africa.
The forum was originally called MASA (Martial Arts Southern Africa), but there was confusion with MAASA (the Martial Arts Authority of South Africa - a regulatory body) so that the name was changed.
