Empress Xiao Hui Zhang (Chinese: 孝惠章皇后博尔吉济特氏, 仁宪皇太后) (1641 - 1717) was the second Empress Consort of the Qing Dynasty Shunzhi Emperor of China.

Biography

Empress Xiao Hui Zhang was of the Manchu Borjigit clan. When in 1753 Shunzhi's first Empress was demoted she was promoted to Consort. One year later she became officially Shunzhi's second Empress. When the Kangxi Emperor ascended the throne, Borjigit was made Dowager Empress, although she was not the biological mother of the new emperor. Empress Borjigit died in 1717 in the Imperial Palace, aged 76.
