Empress Malina is aired in a double-bill with The Adventures of Red-Eyed Tree Frog Man.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

It is the day of the Kuzcoteque dance, for which Malina is Empress, making her Kuzco's automatic date. However, Kuzco is horrified to notice that she has a zit, causing her to label him superficial. Despite assuring her it makes no difference, he enlists Kronk in a scheme to solve the problem, by creating an elixir in Yzma's lab. However, "Kronk" is actually Yzma in disguise, who gives him a fake.

Kuzco sprays the elixir on Malina, pretending that it is perfume. While it removes the zit, it proceeds to give Malina a toucan's beak. Yzma captures Kuzco when he goes to confront the real Kronk, and gives him the option of curing Malina in exchange for making her Empress. Kuzco chooses this option, although Yzma still tries to double-cross him. When Kronk foils this plan, Kuzco chooses to give himself a similar beak in order to show Malina that he can see past looks, and they have their date after all.

  • UK Premiere: 24th March 2006
  • Malina sarcastically asks if her zit will throw off Kuzco's groove, a reference to his behaviour in the first movie.
  • Kronk indicates that he spent at least some of his early life in the circus.
  • Kuzco gets turned into: a toucan (well, the beak at least).
  • "Pull the lever" gag: A massive stone foot crushes Kuzco, in a reference to Monty Python's Flying Circus (repeated later intentionally). A voice at the start of the rollercoaster tells the boys to "please scream like girls until the ride comes to a complete stop". On the way down, the car stops at a drive-thru ordering point.
  • Bucky appears: darting across the entrance to Kronk's cave.
  • "Kuzco's doodles": None.
