Empire Corridor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Empire Corridor is a term used to refer to the approximately 430-mile corridor between Buffalo and Albany, New York, including the cities Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, and Schenectady.
It is also the name of an Amtrak line that serves this corridor. Politicians in New York State have recently shown interest in high-speed rail service along the corridor, making a trip between Buffalo and New York City take under three hours.
