The Emotional Intelligence Quick Book, published in 2005 by Simon and Schuster, is an international bestselling book, with a dual classification in the business and self-help genres. It is written by Travis Bradberry, Ph.D. and Jean Greaves, Ph.D., who are industrial psychologists from San Diego. The book has more than 100,000 copies in print, and has been translated into 12 languages in more than 20 countries. It was the third book to date to include a unique passcode printed on each book that enables the reader to access an online test that illustrates their skill in the concepts introduced by the book. Connected to the book's title, this test measures the reader's emotional intelligence. The book teaches four skills that are impliated in workplace performance and personal satisfaction. These implications stem from the author's research with 500,000 individuals worldwide.
