Emiko Shiratori

Emiko Shiratori (白鳥 英美子 Shiratori Emiko, March 16, 1950 -) is a Japanese singer. She sang in the Sapporo Winter Olympics (1972) and the Nagano Winter Olympics (1998). She is also the wife of Sumio Shiratori.

As a vocalist for the video game Final Fantasy IX, she sang the main theme "Melodies of Life" in both the Japanese and English versions. She also sang a vocal arrangement of "Epona's Song" for the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Re-Arranged Album and the Tanoshii Muumin Ikka opening and ending themes. Shiratori has had at least one song appear on the NHK program Minna no Uta.
