Emblem of the African Union
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Emblem of the African Union features palm leaves shooting up on either side of the outer circle, symbolising peace.
The gold circle symbolizes Africa's wealth and bright future, while the green circle represents African hopes and aspirations. The plain map of Africa without boundaries in the inner circle signifies African unity, and the small interlocking red rings at base of the Emblem stand for African solidarity and the blood shed for liberation of Africa.
