Emblem of Bahrain

The Coat of Arms of Bahrain was designed in the 1930s by the British advisor to the King of Bahrain (then emir). The coat of arms contains the same design as that found on the national flag located on a shield in the center. Around this shield are laurels.

The picture shows the old version of the Emblem. Current version contains five white 'valleys' instead of four. These 'valleys' represent the five pillars of Islam.
