Embasaurus minax |
Embasaurus (meaning "Emba [River] lizard") is the name given to a dubious genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. It was a theropod; the fossils were found in Kazakhstan in central Asia.
The type species, Embasaurus minax, was described by Riabinin in 1931. It is named after the Emba River, and is known only from vertebrae. Because the remains are fragmentary, Embasaurus is considered a nomen dubium.
