Emanuil A. Vidinski

Emanuil A. Vidinski (1978) is a Bulgarian writer, poet and musician.
He has published his works in several Bulgarian newspapers (“Culture”, “Literary Newspaper”, “Capital Light”), magazines and literature web portals (liternet.bg [1], slovo.bg [2], grosnipelikani.net [3]). He is co-founder of the humanistic seminar "Angle" (2003-2004) [4].
Emanuil A. Vidinski has authored the collection of short stories “Cartographies of escape” (2005) that is among the six shortlisted books for the “Elias Canetti” Award (2005). He is the winner of “Rashko Sugarev” Award in 2004 for his short story “4th of October”.
In the period 2005 – 2006 he has edited the musical page in “Literary Newspaper”, “Musaic”. Together with poets Peter Chuhov and Ivan Christov, he has established the ethno-rock poetry band Gologan (2004).
His works have been translated into English, German, Hungarian and Spanish languages. His second book is to be published in 2007.
