Elvis Duran

Elvis Duran is a radio personality who hosts the "Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo" radio morning show in New York on Z-100. The "Morning Zoo" is simultaneously broadcast in Miami on Y100 and in Northern New Jersey/Northeastern Pennsylvania on Max 106.3. Duran has hosted Z-100's morning show since 1996, the longest consecutive host in the show's history.

Prior to working at Z100, Duran worked in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Houston. He began his run at Z100 in 1989 hosting the afternoon slot until in 1996, Tom Poleman, the newly appointed program director, moved Duran to the morning slot, where he has been ever since.[1]

Elvis Duran received the Personality of the Year award in 2001 on the Radio Music Awards broadcasted on ABC, where he was also a presenter.

Duran plays himself in Die Hard: With a Vengeance.
