Eltham High School

Eltham High School, is a secondary school in Victoria, Australia. It is located in Eltham, a suburb which is north east from Melbourne. It is mainly known for its music programme run by Mr Ken Waterworth which wins numerous awards each year.
The school has produced cyclist Cadel Evans, Motor Sport legend Peter Brock, Victorian cricketer Lloyd Mash, Seven Network newsreader Jennifer Adams, and actress Emily Browning.

The year levels are broken up into three different groups which are:
- Junior School (Year 7-8)
- Middle School (Year 9-10)
- Senior School (Year 11-12)

- Since the end of 2005, Paul Rose has been replaced by Vincent Sicari as principal.
- Two languages are taught at Eltham, Indonesian and French.
- The school's motto is "Deeds Count."
- The school's colours are navy blue, yellow and red.
- The school has an annual student vs teachers footy match at the end of term 3. The teachers have won for the past 5 years.
- The school is a strong supporter of individuality. The school is one of the very few schools in Melbourne to have no uniform to encourage this notion. However, they do have a restrictive dress code.
- The school always holds their Year 12 formal the same day as 'celebration day' (muck- up day)
- The school has a moderately 'laid-back' environment
- The school's weekly newsletter comes out on a Wednesday.
- The school's bell times run from 8:55am to 3:10pm.
- Is highly known for their music program-have won countless prestigious awards over the years
