[edit] Citation Needed

I believe this passage needs some authoritative backup: "Paul Levitz [is] known for his attempts to tone down (some would say censor) comics he found offensive" First, known by whom, and how do they know this? If they know this by news articles, published memos, etc., can these be cited? Are there examples of other attempts at toning down/censoring? On the face of it, it seems he was exercising editorial perogative; lots of things get canceled or recalled at late stages for a variety of reasons. What was DC's statement at the time, and what did the comics press report? I've edited so that the entry currently has an NPOV, per Wiki policy. -- Tenebrae 19:08, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
